How to become the Ultimate Braai Fire Master:

According to the experts, wood works best. Keep the fire burning with your Fire Master fire bellow until you have nice hot glowing coals.

Get the fire to the right temperature - hold your hand over the grid for 5 seconds for the perfect steak, 2 seconds longer for boerewors and even longer for chicken, which needs a cooler heat.

How to use the bellow

  • Unlock the loop around the handle before you start pumping your bellow.
  • Make sure the vent hole faces downwards while pumping.
  • We suggest you operate about a hand’s length away from the hot embers, or from a distance you feel most comfortable with heat-wise.
  • While pumping, do not insert metal nozzle directly into the hot coals.
  • Don't rest the bellow against the hot fireplace structure, otherwise it may damage the bellow.

Difference between small & LRG bellows

  • The small bellows work just as well as the large, they just have a faster pump action.
  • Small bellows are more convenient for travel or camping trips.
  • The larger bellows look more impressive because of their traditional size especially when displayed on the wall near your fireplace.

Care Instructions

  • It’s a natural product, so it’s best to store your bellows indoors where it can't get sun and rain damage over time. Use leather feed eg: Dubbin to keep the leather soft.
